Webb17 jan. 2015 · When I picked the car up I noticed that the rear washer jet was not working - I assumed that due to the cold weather of late the fluid had frozen in the pipe and was blocked. Now that things have thawed a bit, I thought I would try again but no joy. The washer pump is definatelyworking as the front washer jets have no probs. Any ideas? Also the Scenic II does not have a one way valve fitted into the rear wash wipe so the pump needs to move quite a bit of fluid before it hits the rear screen. Before you start changing pumps just check with a pin that the rear jet has not become blocked/clogged.

Webb6 juli 2008 · Just noticed when I try to wash the rear screen a small amount of spray comes out of the front washer on the left hand side. No water leaking out of the boot nor is there any water in the spare wheel well. I'd take the nozzle off and clean it with a pin or airline if you have one, before ripping the carpets up trying to chase the hose. effington lyrics

It was discovered that certain brands of washer fluid and certain dilutions were allowing a clear algae/gel to bloom in the washer bottle, thereby reducing or blocking the jet flow. For the lack of rear wiper action, I haven't experienced this so I can only imagine you might have a bad connector, bad wiring or a bad motor.
